DREAMLAND.

THIS IS THE LAND OF DREAMS AND FANTASY.

Welcome to the land of dreams and fantasy!
Let me welcome you to dreamland my friends!
You are all welcome here, and you can stay here as long as you like, because dreamland is free for everybody that in dreams and fantasy likes to dwell.
You can dream whatever dreams you like in dreamland: sweet dreams, love dreams, good dreams, strange dreams, wild dreams and even nightmares. And perhaps after dreaming them, if you feel like it, you could even tell us your dreams.
And if you happen to tell us one of your dreams, or if you listen to a dream being told, please remember, that in dreamland nobody can tell whether the dream that we may be telling is the truth as well. Since in dreamland lies may seem truths and truths may seem lies as well; because even I, and I am the dreamer of dreamland, but even I don’t know what’s the truth a well.
Of course I have dreamed the dream that’s true. But it is only a dream and it can not be the truth just because it is a dream; but at the same time it can not be a lie as well, just because what I am telling you, it has really taken place at least inside my mind as well.

So, here I am, in my dreamland my friends.
Because this is where sometimes I like to dwell nowadays, whether I like to be in it or not makes no difference, because my lifestyle seems to have forced me to be in dreamland.
It had to happen to me, because somehow during my life I got tired and bored from the painful events of my life, and in order to escape my pains and boredom, I have tried to find a way out capable to break that boredom and gloom. Therefore, nowadays in the land of dreams and fantasy I often happen to dwell, which is a situation forced from my life’s events, that were and are even now mostly beyond my control.
I don’t like being in this sort of situation, because by nature I am a doer and not a dreamer, so I would like very much to do some physical work, since that would keep my body fit and my mind occupied, and it would also give me some pleasure when I finish a task, because then, I would feel that I have achieved something worth doing.
Instead I am ruining my health, and perhaps I may be wasting away in the land of dreams and fantasy. But in my forced and hopeless situation I can’t do what I want, and therefore I am forced to dwell in the land of dreams and fantasy, just to keep my mind occupied in the hope that I keep it healthy. So you’ll have to forgive me if sometimes I will sound a bit strange, because in the land of dreams and fantasy everything can feel or be strange.
I suppose by now you know, or perhaps you have guessed already, that in the land of dreams and fantasy there are no restrictions whatsoever, so anyone can dream anything, say anything, think of anything and do anything at all. Because in the land of dreams there are no man made rules, and one is set completely free of all human acquired restrictions.
Because of this great freedom one can let oneself go wild, and dream or think of anything that one likes; and in doing so a person doesn’t harm anyone, or break any man made rules, since it all happens in one’s own mind.
Therefore, in the realm of dreams and fantasy just about everybody may willingly like to dwell, just because one can dream of anything that one wants; but cant have it in real life. And in doing so one may be able to avoid being depressed, since one avoids that despair that otherwise may sent one crazy. Therefore, for someone to dream in the land of dreams and fantasy may be said that it is an escape from realty: But at the same time there is no harm done in dreaming, since it becomes an essential escape that serves well all humanity, because somehow it is able to help in keeping a balanced mental health, even if these dreams happen to be plain daydreams.

So now, in order to continue about the same subject, let us talk about dreams in a general term.
I believe that generally there are two types of dreams, which are: the dreams that we dream when we are asleep, and the dreams that we dream when we are awake.
The dreams that we dream when we are asleep can be divided into three types at least:
(1) Shallow dreams that seem body dreams.
(2) Normal mental dreams and deep psychological dreams.
(3) Dreams from the unknown, as the Afterlife world and the cosmic world.
All the dreams that we dream when we are asleep are linked close together, and they can be so close together that it is hard to know when one ends and the other begins, in fact they usually overlap each other a lot. And sometimes also the daydreams can creep into the night dreams.
I will talk about the daydreams later on, but now let us talk about the dreams when we sleep.

Sleeping dreams, Type-one.
These dreams seem to be mostly shallow dreaming, and they are often only a reflection of life that we happen to live at that particular time, and part of these dreams we’ll dream while we are half asleep, and part of them when we are fully asleep; these dreams will usually reflect the happenings of the day before the dream, or something that we have thought that was about to happen, or something that our body needs and the need surfaces in our thought as we sleep.
So in this type of dreams, it is very likely to happen, that if we have had a very busy and confuse day, our dreams will usually show that feeling of confusion, and while we dream of one thing it suddenly changes to something else, and there are times when the very same objects that we have used during the day may come into our dreams, perhaps they will be there only for a split second, or they may be replaced by something else and only the rhythm of the happenings may be present on our dream.
These types of dreams seem to suggest that our mind is sorting out the happenings of the day before, and perhaps filing them in its own way, before our mind can have a real rest.
A second type of these dreams is when we are asleep and our body feels the need for something, then we may very well dream of the desired things: So if we go to bed hungry in our sleep we may dream of food, and perhaps we may try to eat it but usually we would not succeed, so that our hunger remains with us. If we are thirsty we may dream of water, and of fountains and of any other sort of drinks, but somehow we don’t drink and if we do we wonder why it doesn’t quench our thirst; and this is all because our body needs is still present.
If we need to go to the toilet for a piss, we will dream of trying to find a toilet, and we will have all sorts of problems to find a spot to piss, and when we have found one and try to piss we wake up, and find out that we have really to go to the real toilet.
If at night we have a bad digestion or something else that affect our well being, whether we are aware of it or not, we may very likely have a nightmare. Here it seems to me that our mind doesn’t want our body to relax completely, so we have a nightmare in order to keep our circulation going faster that it would normally do if we were asleep, and in doing so we may solve more readily our present physical problem.
So all these types of dreams seem to have a purpose, which is to adjust any difference needed between mind and body while we are asleep. And also our mind needs to dream in order to review those day happenings, and file them in its own way.
I believe that it works very much like this:
For example; if you feel a clean glass with dirty water, and then leave it on the bench overnight: In the morning you will find that most of the impurities in the water are settled at the bottom, and a few that are lighter than water at the top, so most of the water now is clear water.
In a parallel way like the glass of water, while our body rests at night our mind works by settling things down, so during our dreams our mind seems to be looking at the impurities settling down, and our dream are the process of settlement and purification, and when everything has settled our mind then will file them to keep a record and shut them down.
And now I’d like to be excused ahead of time before I say it, because what I am going to say may be considered to be rude, but it is the realty of life and dreams, so it is essential that I say it here. I am talking about those erotic dreams, which are usually brought about from lack of sexual activities while we are awake, so that our libido builds up and it shows up in our dreams. Here our dream is telling us to do something about it, because if we don’t we run an unhealthy risk, the least if which is of perhaps having a wet dream. Other risks are involved also, but they don’t belong in this sort of writings of dream world, and I will talk about them later on if and when I get the chance.
The conclusion for this type of dreams is that: Dreams type-one have something to do with the ever present body needs of the dreamer.

Sleeping dreams, Type-two and three.
These two types of dreams are the real dreams that we dream, and we dream them when we are in a deep sleep; they would be called the dreams of our minds. These dreams seem completely detached from our present body needs, and therefore they can’t be explained easily, since we don’t know how and why we do dream such dreams. They may be long past experience that surface in our mind while we sleep, or they are of a psychological nature; so while our mind is at rest from our busy waking life, our brain tries to sort things out, and tries to make sense in its own way while we are asleep. Some of these dreams usually seem to remind us of long past events, or they may be very strange in nature and make no sense at all, if one compares them to real life. They are or seem to be a bit like the dream in type-one, but they are not because we can’t find the connection to our present body needs; but there could be a connection if we look for it in our life overall, and this connection is more mental than physical, or at least it seems so because there are also those things that our body requires but we are not aware of it, and there are our own beliefs that play a part in modifying our dreams.
All these things together may easily create a problem for our mind, and this problem must be solved somehow, and our mind solves its own problem by dreaming.
The normal mental dreams and the psychological dreams seem to come at the same level of awareness, therefore they can’t be separated easily, as they are both mental and detached from our body needs, so they are hard to explain.
Because of their nature, mankind has been interested for a very long time about their meanings. So, because of these dreams detached nature from our present bodily needs, and the belief about the possibility that our mind could be tuning-in to a different dimension, which is believed to be the cosmic life-force of the whole universe, and our afterlife world, and therefore the land of the dead, where the souls of our ancestor are supposed to be now. Some people believe that our ancestors can communicate to us through these dreams, and they would give us coded messages since they are not allowed to tell us in a straightforward way, and worn us about what’s going to happen next, as they know already everything before it happens.
Because of these beliefs, there are groups of people that have put special meanings in these dreams, and they think that it is possible to foretell some future events from our dreams.
There are in fact so many people that believe in their dreams, and some of them would be worried if they have had a bad dream, as they believe that the dream may have foretold them of an oncoming bad event. These believers of dreams would usually tell their dreams to their special close partners, relative or friends that believe in the same way; and by telling them their dreams, they hope that their friends would be able to help them find what those dreams could mean, but in the end everything remains as confuse as before.
So, let us suppose that the dreams really have a message for the dreamer! Then: What could a certain dream mean to a certain person?
I don’t think that anybody could answer that positively, because the same dream may have a different meaning to a different person. Because the person that is telling the dream has got to take into consideration his own feelings while he is dreaming, because I believe that his/her feelings are the most important part to consider understanding dreams: that is if one wants really to understand dreams. But the feelings of a dreamer can’t be passed on easily, and for this reason it is very hard to understand other people dreams, as they seem to be all over the place and meaningless to the listener. Because each individual has his own way of dreaming, and also of understanding dreams, and therefore he will dream his dreams according to his own beliefs and imagination, and it is for this reasons, that only the dreamer himself is the person that is capable of understanding his own dreams.
There are some rules of course on how to know what your dreams mean: But I haven’t tried to learn and know them properly. So when I speak about the meanings of dreams, I speak only about my own life experience, and a few stories that I have heard around.
However, I believe that there could be some meanings in dreams, because if I dream a certain dream at night, and the day after something happens that seems very similar to my dream, I have to accept that my dream has foretold me the happening; What else can I or you do?
I know that it is only afterward when something has taken place, that we are able to say that what has taken place is very much the same as our dream, and therefore we believe that, that particular dream was meant to foretell us the on coming event.
So, it is events like these that will make us always wonder and ask the questions, whether the dreams that we dream are really there to foretell us the future. And if they are: What could we do about it? Could we find an advantage by knowing the meanings of our dreams?
Perhaps we could.
So, here are a few of the questions that one has to ask oneself in order to understand dreams:

(1) Let us start looking at the dreams that we dream.
(2) Let us ask ourselves what sort of dreams are they.
(3) Let us ask ourselves why we do dream such dreams.
So, what sorts of dreams I generally dream?
Are my dreams happy dreams, or are they sad dreams?
Do I feel secure while I dream, or do I feel threatened?
Are there friendly people with me, or are they hostile?
Can I move freely in my dreams, or I have to struggle to move?
Am I alone in a large open space, or am I in a maze wanting to find my way out?
When a dreadful dream ends, does it end because I wake up from fear? Or does it end because I have somehow overcome the dangerous obstacles and the dream just finishes, and I wake up just because it is time to wake up.
So, we can keep asking ourselves many more questions like these: But in the end we will have only a confused idea about what our dreams could really mean.
But in this sort of dreams, one could also assume that the degree that the dreamer feels in the dreams; of happiness or sadness; of security or threat; of friendliness or hostility, and whatever else one can feel, could really be the way that one feels within oneself in real life. And there are times that the dreamer is aware of it, or becomes aware if he/she reflects about the dreams.
Therefore these dreams can be said to be of a psychological nature, because they deal about our thinking and what we feel within our own mind, whether we are aware of it or not makes no difference, because while we dream our mind reviews and tries to find an acceptable explanation about our feelings and anything else that seems to be our problem.
So, all these sorts of dreams suggest that while we are sleeping our mind is not completely resting: but it is reviewing our life and our past, so that it can adjust our thoughts in such a way that they would make sense to our own mind, in order to file them in its own way.

But there are some dreams that can not be explained as in the above explanation, and they don’t seem to belong neither to the body nor to the mind of the dreamer: But they seem to come from an outside force, which is capable to influence our minds while we are sleeping, perhaps our minds can really listen to messages from the cosmos when we are sleeping, through our own sixth sense; or our subconscious mind could really be tuning-in in a different dimension, since this is the only time when our mind is free and therefore capable of doing it.
